Summer blockbuster movies are not the only things to watch out for this July. Below is a list of what I personally think is worth your time.
1)
Eigasai 2008 - In order for you to read further I think it's a must that I start of with this statement.

High School Musical: The Ice Tour Manila - You've seen the two movies and you've probably seen High School Musical Live at Hong Kong Disneyland but you've probably not seen the Ice Tour yet. A must see event for Disney or High School Musical fans.

Summer of '42 - Fancy the repertory? Try this out.
"Being a grown up means having been a child first! Ateneo blue REPERTORY proudly launches its 17th season with SUMMER OF '42, a warm, wistful musical that tells the tender and evocative story of three fifteen year old boys and their amusing journey towards learning that there is more to romance than touching a woman's body and about the depths that love can reach. Catch SUMMER OF '42 as it opens on July 4, 2008 at the Fine Arts Theatre, Gonzaga Hall. Tickets are available at the Doghouse for P150 each. For ticket reservations, contact Madel Ching at 09179030560."Notes: This starts July 4 and runs for 3 more weekends. My "dates" and I are currently scheduled to see this on the 12th. Madel Ching... ADMU... Hairspray Manila. Nuff said.

K-Zone Philippines July Issue - A shameless plug... K-Zone releases yet another Pokemon heavy issue. You might be of acquaintance to the one responsible for the Mystery Dungeon article.
Notes: I love K-Zone because they really know how to
"Spell Micael". They have only misspelled my name once and that was maybe already 6 years ago! This will hopefully land me a well deserved VIP ticket to the HSM Ice Tour. *hint* *hint*
